Your daycare records stay on your device
Invoices, receipts, statements, attendance sheets and contracts are created entirely in your web browser. The names of parents and children, rates, payments, attendance times and your SSN or EIN are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
If you tick “Remember my daycare details”, or use the app, that information is saved in your browser’s local storage on that device only. Anyone with access to the device and browser profile can see it, so use a device you control and lock it. Delete the data in the app, untick the box, or clear your browser data to remove it.
Daycare Binder is not designed to hold children’s health, allergy, immunization or other sensitive records, and we ask you not to enter them. The service is intended for child care providers, not for children.
What we do collect
- Anonymous usage events: which page was viewed, whether a PDF was created or a button was clicked, the referring site and the approximate country. These events never contain form contents.
- Early-access list: if you join the Pro list, we store your email address and the size range you pick, to tell you when Pro is available.
- Subscriptions: if you buy Pro, Stripe processes the payment as merchant of record. We receive your email, the subscription status and a customer ID, never your full card number.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and reliability.
- Analytics and advertising measurement: we use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and the same anonymous events. Google Analytics sets cookies and may be used to measure the results of our Google Ads campaigns. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
How we use it
To understand which features are useful, to provide Pro to subscribers and to contact people who asked for early access. We do not sell or share personal information. To leave the early-access list or ask about your data, email hello@daycarebinder.com.
Third parties
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives standard technical request data (such as your IP address) when your browser downloads them.
